HTML from Attachment
HTML from Attachment is a second macro that renders a complete HTML file you already have, such as an exported report, a generated dashboard or a page from another tool, without pasting it into the code editor.
Adding the Macro
- Edit a Confluence page and type
/HTML from Attachment. - Insert the macro. Its editor opens.
- Drop an
.htmlor.htmfile onto the upload area, or click to choose one. - Check the Content summary (how much HTML and CSS was found) and the preview.
- Click Save.
The file's styles are kept with its HTML, so the page renders the way it looks in a browser.
Updating the Content
Open the macro's editor and upload the new version of the file. The previous content is replaced when you save.
Security
HTML from Attachment renders through the same sandbox as the main macro. Your security settings and editor permissions apply in exactly the same way.
