Update to the paid version

HTML Macro+ for Confluence is now a paid app for sites with more than 10 users, with a free 1-month trial. It stays free for sites with up to 10 users, which still approve the update and subscribe once, at no charge. A site admin approves the paid update once in Atlassian Administration, then starts the trial or subscribes. Everyone on the site can keep editing macros straight away.

You need to be a site admin (or an organization admin) to do this.

1. Open your site's connected apps

Go to admin.atlassian.com, choose your site, then Site settings → Connected apps.

Shortcut: in Confluence, open the app's settings and select Start a free trial or subscribe. It takes you straight to this list.

2. Find HTML Macro+ for Confluence

In the Installed apps list, HTML Macro+ for Confluence shows a Paid update tag. Select View app details.

3. Select Paid update

On the app's page, select Paid update at the top right, then follow the steps to start the free trial or subscribe, monthly or annually.

The free trial includes every feature. Subscribe before it ends to keep editing.

4. Apply the launch offer (optional)

Until 28 February 2027, we're offering 25% off monthly and annual subscriptions. Request the code, then enter it in Atlassian Administration when you subscribe, or later under Billing.

5. Check it worked

Open the app's settings in Confluence. The license notice is gone and every settings page is available again. In the macro editor, Save works as before.

Until the update is done

Pages keep showing their content. Without a subscription or trial, the macro editor opens but can't save, and the app's settings show how to start the trial. See Licensing.
