Install the app in a couple of minutes and find your way around it.

Requirements

Jira Cloud. The app doesn't support Data Center.
A Jira admin to install the app

Installing

Issue Templates & Recurring Tasks for Jira is launching on the Atlassian Marketplace soon. Until its listing is live, find it on Yamuno's Marketplace page.

Once it's listed:

Open the app's Marketplace listing and click Get it now.
Choose your Jira site and click Install.
Review the permissions it asks for and accept them.

The app is free.

The Get started page

After installing, open the app's entry where you manage your Jira apps and choose Get started. The page walks through the first three steps, and its Open the app button takes you to your templates.

Permissions it asks for

The app reads and creates work items, reads people's names for pickers, finds portal request types, and registers itself with Jira's Create dialog and portal. It keeps its templates and schedules in Forge storage and calls nothing outside Atlassian. See Data and privacy for each permission.
