Mode Use it when
Standard You want a project, sprint, issue type, assignee, reporter, label, group and date range
JQL You already have a query. Autocomplete and validation are built in
Bulk You have a list of issue keys, e.g. from a release note

The date range includes the whole end day. Limit sets how many issues are loaded per page (up to 1,000); use Load more for the next page.

Reading the results

The line above the table shows how many changes were found, in how many issues, and roughly how many issues matched the search. Issues that only changed through creation have no field changes and don't appear.

Group the results By Issue, By Project, By Author or By Field, or read them as a Feed. Each expanded group shows its latest 20 changes; click Show all for the rest.

  • All fields filters the table to specific fields, with a count for each.
  • Highlight marks every change made by one person.
  • Columns hides columns you don't need.
  • Summary and description changes show a word-level diff; label changes show only the labels added or removed.

Restore

For status, assignee, priority and summary, the Restore button puts the field back to the value it had before that change. It uses Jira's normal edit and transition permissions, so it only works where you could make that change in Jira yourself.

Saved and recent searches

  • Save filter keeps the current search as a private bookmark. Only you can see, rename or delete your bookmarks.
  • Saved → Recent lists your last ten searches, newest first.
