Data and Privacy

Issue History by Yamuno runs entirely on Atlassian Forge. It has no external servers and declares no egress, so your Jira data never leaves Atlassian. This page lists exactly what the app stores and what it only reads.

What the app stores

Everything below is kept in Forge storage for your Jira site, inside Atlassian's infrastructure. Yamuno has no access to it.

Each of these is tied to an Atlassian account ID. The app doesn't store names, email addresses or any other personal details.

What the app only reads

To show history, the app reads these from Jira each time you search. None of it is stored.

  • Issues, their fields and their change history
  • Projects, boards, sprints, issue types, labels and statuses
  • Names and avatars of the people who made changes

Every request runs as the signed-in user, with that user's Jira permissions. People only ever see history for issues they can already browse in Jira.

What the app changes in Jira

Only Restore, and only when a user clicks it. Restore puts a status, assignee, priority or summary back to an earlier value, using Jira's normal edit and transition permissions. It works only where that user could make the same change in Jira themselves.

What the app doesn't do

  • Send data to external servers or third-party services
  • Include analytics or tracking inside the app
  • Write issue data or personal data to logs

Removing your data

  • Saved searches: delete them from the Saved menu.
  • Recent searches: click Clear next to the recent searches in the Saved menu.
  • PDF branding: remove the logo and company name in Settings → Export.
